Pimienta, who previously coached Barca Atletic, might be returning to the Club World Cup this summer in the USA. Egyptian football club Al-Ahly is in talks with him to lead their team at the tournament.

Al-Ahly will face Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, and also compete in a group stage with Palmeiras and Porto.

Talks between Al-Ahly and Pimienta are ongoing, focusing on a short-term agreement.
